Active Citizens – Get the Youth Skilled and Working Locally – Gurage Zone

Initiative Africa and British Council’s project called “ACTIVE CITIZENS: Get the Youth Skilled and Working Locally”, #YCDF conducted ‘Social Enterprise Leadership Training’, from December 07-09 and 15-16, 2018. The sensitization workshop and learning sessions attended by 72 participants (32 school children and 42 school community members) in Gurage Zone, Emdebir Secondary and Preparatory School.
With a view of creating future social enterprise schools, the social enterprise program will work directly with this young people [school children] by building their capacity through social enterprise leadership skills,  to increase their social engagement and to initiate school based community action project.
